AERO-SENSE ICE-5 Turbine Fuel Inhibitor, 500ml Aerosol, MIL-I-85470, MIL-DTL-27686

AERO-SENSE ICE-5 Fuel System Icing Inhibitor Aerosol

Aero-Sense ICE-5 Fuel System Icing Inhibitor (FSII) is an anti-icing additive that prevents icing of water in aircraft fuel systems Aircraft that lack fuel heating systems are vulnerable to the freezing of small amounts of autonomous water in the fuel, which may block fuel lines, filters and valves. Mixing ICE-5 into the fuel at a ratio of 0.07% up to 0.10% by volume according to MIL-DTL-83133 or 0.10% up to 0.15% by volume according to DEF Stan 91-91, will stop this from happening. One aerosol of ICE-5 can treat from 330 to 714 litres of fuel. Mix thoroughly to avoid separation of the inhibitor and fuel.
