PM1000II 4-Place Panel Mount Mono Intercom with Pilot Isolate (Jack Kit included)
The PS Engineering PM1000II (P/N 11922) is an FAA-approved, panel-mounted 4-place aircraft intercom system (ICS) designed to provide clear and reliable communication between pilot and passengers. This version is supplied without the “Crew” intercom mode, offering simplified operation while maintaining full pilot and co-pilot functionality.
The unit features independent volume and squelch controls for pilot and co-pilot, allowing precise adjustment of audio levels. A front panel selector enables multiple intercom modes, including ISO (pilot isolated from passengers) and ALL (all users on a common intercom circuit). The system automatically mutes entertainment audio during radio transmissions, ensuring critical communications are prioritised.
A two-colour LED indicator provides clear visual status, showing power and transmit activity. The PM1000II also incorporates a fail-safe interconnect, maintaining pilot radio communications in the event of power loss.
Designed for general aviation applications, this intercom supports up to four headset positions, enhances cockpit communication efficiency, and improves overall audio management in flight.
