Air Avionics

AIR Avionics is the avionics brand of Garrecht Avionik GmbH, a German company known for reliable, innovative systems.

Founded in 1998, it began with the successful Volkslogger flight recorder and soon gained EASA certification for avionics production. In 2013, Garrecht merged with Butterfly Avionics—makers of the popular Butterfly Displays—to form AIR Avionics, officially uniting under one brand in 2017.

Today, AIR Avionics is a leader in traffic awareness and avionics integration, with award-winning products like the AIR Traffic system and AIR Control Display. The company continues to grow, expanding into sectors like renewable energy and operating from its new showroom in Walldorf.
