What was launched over 45 years ago with a handful of gliders and motor gliders as a small aviation exhibition in the context of a regional automotive exhibition has developed into one of the world's most important industry meetings with an impressive line-up of all kind of aircraft types. The 30th edition of AERO Friedrichshafen, Europe’s most important trade show for general aviation, took place in April 2024. More than 700 exhibitors from 38 countries were at the event, presenting the industry’s latest innovations in one of the world’s most modern exhibition centres. The show had more than 35,000 visitors, 63 percent of whom held a pilot license, satisfied their aviation-related demand at this one-of-a-kind meeting place of the GA community.
